Kenny Slaught Describes Santa Barbara’s Rich Architectural Heritage

El Pueblo Viejo district in the historic area, the hundred year old Hotel Virginia, and the two pink towers of the Old Mission, which hold most famous retreats and celebrations, are some of the most architectural highlights in Santa Barbara. The bright hued tiles of the County Courthouse houses gorgeous displays of murals and other features.  The clock tower and observation area nearby offer a panoramic view of the whole town. The Lobero theatre not only hosts the regions performing arts events but also goes back to 1873 and was restructured in the 1920’s by George Washington Smith. These are some finest examples of the rich heritage of Santa Barbara as per Kenny Slaught, where, because of the founder’s progressive planning, many traditional, architecturally significant buildings line the streets of the old locales.
