Several Hospice of Santa Barbara counsellors have successfully integrated EMDR into treatment plans after becoming certified in the cutting-edge therapy. The therapy has helped many clients report greater feelings of ease and comfort than they experienced with only talk therapy. EMDR will not replace the need for talk therapy, but rather serves as an important addition for clients with intensely difficult grief or trauma.
